The Coolest Boho Kids Bedrooms We've Ever Seen!
What did your room look like when you were a kid? We’re guessing not exactly like these colorful, creative, and ultra-hip bohemiam kids rooms! Let’s drool over these cool boho bedrooms for kids and see some easy ways to elevate your child’s retreat with some major bohemian inspiration.
Accent a Wall with Peel and Stick Wallpaper
Start your nursery design with artistically designed and whimsical wallpaper, like this beautiful space created by vintage dealer Kate Pearce for her daughter Josie.
Here’s another view of this gorgeous room. This space reminds us of pages from our favorite children’s books, like a jungle or secret garden come to life.
Next up is a sweet room for Kate’s other daughter. (Side note – we’re actually thinking of asking to be adopted!)
I mean what little girl wouldn’t love waking up in her very own house bed every morning?
We’re not the only one’s in love with Kate’s designs. She’s got 20,000+ fans on IG (click here to check her out). And her eclectic farmhouse was recently featured on Design Sponge!
If you’re looking for nursery or kids room ideas for your own littles, consider peel and stick wallpaper to create layers of color and set the mood. The colorful wallpaper pattern below is by Boho Luxe Home – and it’s easy to put up and easily removable, too!

Yep! No mess, no damage. So as your child grows, you can change it up!
Add Tassels Anywhere
Make a kids bedroom a veritable color celebration with bright layers of fabrics, flags and tassels. From lamps and door knobs, to art on the walls – decorative tassels add color and texture wherever you place them.
Here’s a gorgeous peacock blue tassel with a brass topper, that’s one of our favorites…

We’ve personally used tassels on diaper bags, purses, door knobs, lamp switches, cabinets, armoires — even this metal deer head!
Use Fabric with Flair
Check out this fun, fearless – dare we say genius – redo by Jewel Marlowe of Jeweled Interiors. This French-inspired room for her daughters to share, is one of the most fun and fantastic spaces we’ve ever seen! All we can say is ‘ooo la la’!

Put Pretty on Display
In addition to tassels and wallpaper, there’s nothing like art — DIY or otherwise — to personalize kids bedroom decor and make a statement. Plus we’re loving this calming color scheme by design blogger Kathy of Up to Date Interiors.
That’s our luxurious velvet pillow in deep green at the foot of the bed, along with one of our handmade pillows — this one from a vintage Japanese geometric obi. (You can find similar one-of-a-kind and vintage pillows by clicking here.)
And here’s a detail shot showing a handmade, brass topped silk tassel on that beautiful brass bed.
Here’s a pretty, renter-friendly peel and stick wallpaper in a similar color palette. So peaceful, don’t you think?

Make it Pink
Pink is always in style. We love how Kathy from Up to Date interiors styled this kids room, too! Everything’s so pretty and fresh.
Kathy used tatami mats on the floor for this globally-inspired look, plus pretty pink fabric on the top of a basket. We love how it all came together!
Here’s a gorgeous pink velvet pillow called Wolfton Heath from Boho Luxe Home (click here to see it). Paired with Thread Bare fabric…

And on the bedside table, a little piece of acrylic art to play off the subtle Japanese theme again. Isn’t it sweet? It is (appropriately) called “Parasol”.
This eclectic kid’s room from Domicile 37 greets you with an ornate door knob and colorful elephants – I mean how fun and welcoming!
You can achieve this look with one of our many tassels. This long handmade one is a defininte crowd pleaser.
This moody, floral nursery has our maximalist hearts swooning.
Our Boho Luxe Home Shibori travel bags make great, roomy boho baby bags. Cassie Bustamante shows us how she uses this bag for travel, here.
We hope that you’re feeling inspired to bring some boho vibes into your kid’s bedroom. With color, patterns, tassels, and textures anyone can achieve this gorgeous look. Tell us, do you already have a boho kid’s room? If so, please share your decor ideas with us!
