Go For The Unexpected With a Wanderlust-Inspired Turquoise Tablecloth
Are you up for a project? This Moroccan Knot fabric is sold by the yard and makes a beautiful table cloth. Perfect for creating a fresh and free-spirited backdrop for your Easter table, this signature fabric has a classic Moorish motif, layered with washes of fresh color. Finish your spring table off with freshly cut flowers or spring bulbs and you have a setting that’s simply stunning.
Add a Tassel or Two (or Four…)
Tassels add a touch of the exotic and an extra pop of color and contrast to your tablescape or decor! Use beaded tassels as napkin rings or clip them to chairs, like Stephanie Watkins of Casa Watkins Living did, here. The lush Boho Luxe Home tassels Stephanie used are made of cotton with a lobster clasp and cowrie shell embellishments.
We firmly believe that just about anything and everything should have a tassel on it and obviously, Stephanie feels the same way! She had this brilliant idea to add some pizazz above her stove with this DIY Boho Spring Basket Wreath – isn’t it gorgeous? Our blush cowrie shell tassel added that bohemian flair that we all yearn for… See her tutorial, here.
Mix and Match Your Patterns
Spring flowers aren’t shy. You don’t have to be, either. Add all the colors to your table top and, while you’re at it, mix up your patterns, too.
African Paint Fabric by the Yard
Options include mixing patterns in a similar color scheme, on plates, napkins and table linens, as above…or keeping some elements more simple while playing with color and shape, as below.

Bring Nature Inside
Spring is all about finding your way outside again after a dreary winter. Bring the feeling of new beginnings to your table, by using natural elements like bird’s nests or feathers. For an organic feel, use real nests filled with dyed eggs as centerpieces.
For a brighter, preppier Easter table, color-coordinate with turquoise eggs and cheery bunnies, like Amy of Meme Hill did for her family table. The runner is Boho Luxe Home’s Thread Bare pattern.
We also love the look of a cloche filled with spring flowers, for a sweet nostalgic nod to seasons past.
Brighten up with a Bohemian Seating Refresh.
Formal dining room or not, you can still have a perfect dinner party. Bring in a mix of old chairs to liven things up. Recovering chair seats is a fairly easy update if you’re craving some color. This Shibori Indigo fabricfrom Boho Luxe Home adds some playfulness. There are no rules even when it comes to a classic holiday like Easter.
Get Eggs-tra Creative!
(Sorry, we couldn’t resist!) But here are some fun egg dying and decorating ideas to make up for that horrible pun.
You could wrap real fern leaves around eggs and dip dye for an organic feel.
Feeling super creative? Paint mix-and-match global patterns on some wooden eggs to keep for more than just one season.
Or, just fill up some jars with colorful Easter egg candy to brighten your decor.
Casa Watkins Living is at it again with this folk art bohemian Easter tree! This is a great DIY project to reuse year after year. Keep the decor simple but vibrant for your folk art themed Easter tree.
The florals from the branches keep the Easter tree looking whimsical and help make the ornaments pop. Have fun creating your own Easter tree this season. Invite the kids to create their own Folk Art Easter ornaments and tree too!
This Easter focus on making your table feel personal so that it tells a story about the places you’ve been or want to go, what you love and what’s truly an expression of who you are.
