Vacation Rental of the Week: A Farmhouse in Italy
Immersed in the peaceful Italian countryside, Cascina Serenella is a stylish vacation rental consisting of a traditional farmhouse, fully restored and surrounded by private gardens. You’ll find an orangery, an orchard and a vegetable garden as well as a unique sense of style.
This charming home stay can accommodate up to 12 people at once, meaning friends or extended families can relax, play or celebrate together. This is a perfect spot for a traditional house party. I love house parties! Wait ’til you see the dining room, and you’ll be planning your own…
This lovely holiday home is situated in the Province of Brescia, just a 10-minute drive from Lago di Garda (or Lake Garda) in Italy’s famous and beautiful Lake District. Check out these lovely pix. Are you feeling romantic yet?
The front gate of this typical Italian villa is pure tradition, but it leads to a farm house with a modern vibe.
Ciao! Come on inside and you’ll see what I mean…
Check out the fun, functional kitchen, below. I love that you can still see the traditional bones of this Italian villa – and then – what? An orange refrigerator?
Now this is a vacation rental with its very own sense of style.
The main house is on three levels, with a separate kitchen, living room with fireplace and a dining table for 24 people. Gosh I just LOVE dinner parties at long, dramatic tables!
The main house also has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, fully furnished in a unique, bright and modern country style. And there are other ways to configure the house and even add beds, if you need to accommodate 12 people.
Next, take a look at this bathroom. Yes, please.
Plus there are lots of places to lounge around in, relax and enjoy your holiday.
You’ll secret spots to get away from it all, both indoors and out.
While this Italian villa bills itself as a typical Italian farmhouse, it has lots of amenities that you certainly won’t find in every vacation rental.
There’s a soccer field, a volleyball net and a ping pong table among other things. What a great place for kids to play. This is a holiday they won’t forget.
Large covered verandas and porches with a barbeque area, churrascheria and outdoor country dining tables mean you may never leave the place. Seriously.
See what I mean? And there are bubble swings…need I say more?
Ahhhhhh. I can definitely see myself here. Can you?
Sadly, I haven’t stayed in this vacation rental – yet. But it is on my list.
