These gourds are first hollowed out and then painted. Then, they are carved with pre-Hispanic designs including geometric and animal motifs exposing the natural undertone of the gourd. Handmade by artisans in Mexico, you’re getting a truly unique piece that resonates with the culture and individualism of the artisan who made it.

These are made from real naturally-grown gourds and are not perfectly round. Designs are a combination of geometric shapes, florals, and wildlife.

All ornaments will vary in size from 2”- 5” depending on the size of the gourd — no two will ever be the same.
