Story Behind The Scarf

The story behind the Hermès "H Enlumine" scarf is inspired by illuminated medieval manuscripts with a stylized "H" as the central motif surrounded by ornamental details that recall the decorative arts of that period. Created by artist Pierre Marie the design features the "H" as a bandana-like element and uses ornamentation that is both contemporary and reminiscent of a richly decorated manuscript.
