Inspired by ancient Moorish architecture, our custom Jali sofa daybed features a finely carved see-through floral panel combined with clean modern lines. This Moorish-inspired daybed sofa includes a custom tufted mattress with cotton canvas cover. Bohemian yet classic, elegant but unexpected, this sofa is made from reclaimed teak wood with a distressed black painted finish.
The daybed is crafted from old reclaimed teak wood and that is hand-carved and handmade. Since the wood is reclaimed, it sometimes has natural cracks. Often, we fill these natural cracks with teak powder. These daybeds are very strong, and these cracks are not defects but natural characteristics of the old wood.
