THE BISNAGAR PATTERN STORY
An Original Pattern by SmithHönig
With a palette of crimson, turquoise, tan, gold - even a bit of indigo and purple - this SmithHönig original pattern began with a digital layering of butterfly wings. Named for the medieval Indian kingdom of Vijayanagara, the pattern reminds us of literary magic carpets, from 1001 Nights to Baba Yaga.
