Antique, highly-detailed and finely carved shell cameo, set in an elegant, stationed, silver oval frame. The aquiline nose of the classical subject, delicate details of hair and dress, along with the pre-safety clasp are consistent with the finest cameos from 1800 to 1875. Presented in excellent vintage condition. Measurements: 2 1/4” long X 1 3/4” wide.
